SerenityGardens.com can only control the price of our products and the method of shipment.
In Canada certain import duties and taxes are levied by your Government once the package reaches your country.
These charges must be paid by you; we have no control over them.

The order page translates and lists these costs for your convenience. The taxes that are levied do not frequently change, however the monetary exchange rates vary daily, but normally, not very much. The information in our data base is predicated on the more detailed information provided below, we have made every effort to make your on-line purchasing as "simple as possible".

International Ordering:

SerenityGardens.com ships Whirligigs within the U.S. and to Canada only.
We currently ship our "Food" products within the U.S. only.

Currency Conversion:

All prices and costs quoted by SerenityGardens.com are in U.S. dollars, and all SerenityGardens.com sales transactions are in U.S. dollars. The "conversions" on the order page are "estimates" provided for your convenience.

Credit Card Transactions:

When you purchase something with a credit card that is drawn on a non-U.S. bank, the transaction is handled by the bank as follows:
SerenityGardens.com is paid in U.S. dollars, and your card is charged in Canadian dollars at prevailing exchange rates determined by your card provider on the date of the transaction.
Only the Product cost plus the FedEx Ground shipping charges and the import Brokerage Fees are charged to your card.
Any applicable taxes will be collected, in Canadian dollars, from you directly, by a Canadian based, FedEx "in-house" Broker.

Import Duty and Taxes:

Our Canadian customers can be subject to a variety of Duties and Taxes.
SerenityGardens.com products are manufactured in the US, are covered by the "North American Free Trade Accord" (NAFTA) and are exempt from Duty.
The "Harmonized Tariff" listing for our product is:
"HS#4420.10.0000"-(Statuettes & other ornaments of wood.)

A Canadian Government "Goods and Services Tax" (GST) of 6%, of the product cost is levied on all import shipments.
The "Provincial Taxes" (PST) vary from province to province. These taxes currently range from "0" to "10%" of product cost.
If shipment is to a province where the "Harmonized Sales Tax" (HST) applies, you'll pay that amount instead of the "GST" and/or "PST" tax.

SerenityGardens.com uses FedEx Ground as their shipper. They have an applied "Brokerage" fee that is based on the product "cost/value" that is being shipped. This fee is to recover costs related to the "importation" of product(s) you have purchased, such as the collection/disbursement of taxes.
The tax amount will be collected, in Canadian dollars, from you, directly by the "Broker".

Delivery Interval:

All Canadian orders take approximately 3-7 business days, from the day of shipment, to reach the delivery destination. This, of course, depends on the destination province.
SerenityGardens.com will normally ship your order within 1-3 days of it's receipt. Therefore, you can expect to have your Whirligig(s) within 4-10 days from ordering, providing there are no delays through Customs.
